2nd-year SMS - Unicamp medical students joined videoconference lecture from Qatar

The medical students from 2nd-year at School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp) are facing the new realities of study at home due Covid-19 pandemic. On May 26th, 2020, they had lecture about “Thoracic Trauma” direct from Doha, Qatar, with Ruben Peralta, professor and director of Trauma, Emergency and Surgery Critical Care Fellowship Program at Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).

Peralta has attended the “Program of Specialist Visiting Professor for Undergraduate” of Undergraduate Studies Office (PRG) of Unicamp, and the videoconference lecture to 92 students was trough Google Meet system. The curricular course about Basic Life Support (MD344) is mentored by Prof. Gustavo P. Fraga, Coordinator of Division of Trauma Surgery.
