Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of SMS - Unicamp received professor from France
On December 12th and 13th the Postgraduate Program of Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp) received Dr. Alain Giami for a series of discussions on sexual research methodology.
Dr. Giami is former Director of Research at INSERM - National Institut de la Sante et Recherche Medicale - France, and Director of the "Genre, sexualité, santé" team. President of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) Scientific Committee, and has published about 15 books (French, English, Portuguese) and 150 articles on sexuality and was one of the creators of the concept of sexual health.
The event was organized by Dr. Rodolfo Pacagnella and Luiz Gustavo Brito from the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics and Dr. Paulo Dalgalarondo and Amilton dos Santos Jr. from the Department of Medical Psychology and Psychiatry of SMS – Unicamp.
