International Office of SMS - Unicamp receives professor from Medical University Innsbruck, Austria

The International Office of the School of Medical Sciences of University of Campinas (Unicamp) received on 30, August the Prof. Dr. Débora Coraça-Huber, MMsc, PhD – Head of the Research Laboratory for Biofilms and Implant Associated Infections, Experimental Orthopedics, Department of Orthopedic Surgery of Medical University Innsbruck (MUI), Austria. The purpose of her visit was to sign an International Agreement for academic cooperation between Unicamp and MUI and also exchange ideas for future research projetcs between the institutions. Prof. Dr. Débora Coraça-Huber developed her PhD thesis here at UNICAMP in the School of Medical Sciences and her post-doc at MUI in Innsbruck. After the post-doc she got a position within the Medical University of Innsbruck as head of the Research Laboratory for Biofilms and Implant Associated Infections. This agreement between the institution will help the exchange of students and professors between the institutions for clinical and research visits. Prof. Débora was received by Prof. Gustavo P. Fraga, Coordinator of International Office of SMS - Unicamp, and by Prof. Claudio S. R. Coy, Associated Dean of SMS - Unicamp and Prof. Nelson Andreollo, Department of Surgery of SMS - Unicamp.
