SMS - Unicamp received professor from University of Toronto, Canada

 

On October 24th, 2019, the Division of Cardiology of School of Medical Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp) received at Hospital de Clinicas (HC) the professor Dr. Cyril David Mazer, from University of Toronto (UofT), Canada. Dr. Mazer is professor of Departments of Anesthesia and Physiology of UofT, Chair of Research Ethics Board at Saint Michael's Hospital (SMH), and Adjunct Scientist at Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, SMH. Dr. Mazer presented the lecture "Perioperative blood conservation: lessons from TRICS III trial", presented at Gastrocentro, in partnership with the weekly meeting of the Division of Digestive Disease Surgery of Department of Surgery of SMS - Unicamp. 

 

After the conference Dr. Mazer discussed clinic cases with residents, assistants, and professors of the Division of Cardiology at HC - Unicamp, and had a meeting with Prof. Otavio Rizzi Coelho Filho about collaborative research projects.
