Improve your knowledge in one of de the most complex syndromes and learn how point of care ultrasound can help you diagnose and treat it better.

 

  1. Workshop objectives

The main objective of the workshop is increase concepts of acute kidney injury (AKI) and how point of care ultrasound (POCUS) can be used to better evaluate ant treat it.

  1. Understand the kidney anatomy and AKI pathophysiology

  2. Clinical and dialytic approach to AKI

  3. The relationship between AKI and sepsis

  4. Learn principles of POCUS

  5. Differ acute and chronic kidney disease characteristics in ultrasound

  6. Improve the evaluation of volemic status in AKI by using POCUS
