Candidate Profile and Admission Norms
The minimum requirements and norms for admission to the port graduate program at the Medical College at UNICAMP are to be found at the Medical Science College http://www.fem.unicamp.br/ensino/pos/index.php). The objective of the Urology Division in the post graduate program of the Surgery Department at the Medical College at UNICAMP is to form researchers and university professors.
Besides doctors, other professionals in the health science are accepted in the Master program (MS) and as a special student for a minimum period of at least six months. A candidate’s acceptance as a regular student will be decided upon his/her work in the initial period. Urologists who have no academic connection will be admitted under the same conditions.
Eventually, urologists who establish an academic connection will be accepted in the regular course, pending approval of post graduate subcommittee of the Surgery Department. The maximum period to finish the MS is 24 months and the PhD. is 36.
