From February 12th to April 30th 2024, the medical student Clara Luísa Lopes de Lorena e Gama, from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, did internship at Medical Clinic Department of School of Medical Sciences (SMS), Unicamp. She passed thru Internal Medicine and Immunology areas. Clara wrote about her experience:

“It was such a good experience being at Unicamp. It gave me the opportunity to get to know the welcoming place that is Campinas, which has a wonderful student life. The internship was one of the best experiences in my life, not only because of the colleagues and friends I made, but also because of the teachers and professionals with whom I had the pleasure of being at the hospital. They marked me with their affection, their human professionalism and by being visible how much they love the profession and teaching students.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the professors and residents who were with me and helped me through this experience. It was very enriching to get to know Brazil and its healthcare system that helps so many people. I leave here with a lot of learning and even more certainty that I am on the right path professionally. I hope to return soon and be able to intern in the areas of medicine that I have yet to discover. Thank you everyone, it was incredible. Thank you, Unicamp!”.
