SMS students Flávio Polillo and Michel Stockler were chosen to participate in the 2019 International Summer School taking place at the University of Birmingham, in Birmingham, UK, from July 15th to August 2nd.

Among the six three-week programmes available at the Summer School, both of our students were given the opportunity to join the programme on “Biomedical Sciences: from Laboratory Bench to Hospital Bedside”, where they’ll get the chance to acquire in-depth knowledge and work with evidence concerning biological sciences, the human body, disease, treatment and patient interaction.

Also, during their time in Birmingham, they will also receive tuition and en-suite accommodation, as well as day trips and some evening and weekend activities, giving them the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the culture of Britain.
